This webpage, created by the CIA, offers kids information and maps on over 200 countries in the world. Population demographics, physical geography and cultural details area all included.

Country Studies
This comprehensive list of cultural information about hundreds of countries is a compilation of research done by the United States government between 1986-1998. While it is dated, it may be a useful start to your research project.

Though this page was created to teach Canadians, it is by far one of the best websites available for teaching anyone about world cultures. Click into the English site, and then select a country. On the left side of the page, you will find a menu of topics about that country. This website is filled with great facts and colorful images.
