What is Summer Reading?
The Summer Reading Program is a drop-in
activity designed to encourage children to
read for fun during the summer. This year’s
program theme is "Dream Big, READ!"
|
 |
When does this all happen?
Summer Reading runs from June 11 to August 4.
|
How does it work?
Kids register for the |
summer-long program,
check out books on their library card, and
start reading! Track the number of books
they have read, and kids earn prizes! Click reading challenge for more details.
|
Are there things to do as well?
Yes! We offer weekly events and activities
designed to entertain and educate kids! All
activities this year are related to our "Dream Big, READ!" theme. Information about events can be found on our events page.
|
Most importantly, remember that
READING IS ITS OWN REWARD!! |
