Live Action Oregon Trail

Join a party. Hunt for food. Die of dysentery. Based on the popular classic video game, this live action role-playing game will take players along a life-sized map of a simulated Oregon Trail. They will have to budget for their family’s journey, make smart trades, hunt in harsh conditions, and prepare for the worst calamities. Learn about the history of the famously perilous journey, gain basic family budgeting skills, and have fun inflicting horrible calamities like cholera, cannibalism, and starvation on other families who are competing to make it to Oregon. The first team to make it to the end receives an awesome prize. This program is for teens and young adults.
