Veterans Memorial Project

In 2025, the Memorial Library of Nazareth & Vicinity formed a Veterans Memorial Committee made up of current and former library board members, veterans, community members, and volunteers. The committee was established to transform the existing flag display on the library grounds into a meaningful Veterans Memorial that honors the service and sacrifice of the men and women who have served our country.

The project reflects the library’s own history. Founded as a memorial to local veterans, the library has always been rooted in honoring those who served. The new memorial will create a lasting place of reflection, remembrance, and gratitude for generations to come. To date, the committee has raised more than $7,000 toward the project. In addition, a generous donor has pledged to match up to $50,000 in community contributions to help plan, construct, and maintain the memorial.
