Circulation and Privacy of Records
This policy covers who is eligible for a library card, library card use, borrowing limits, privacy and access to records, and lost and damaged item rules.

Collection Development
This policy covers guidelines relating to acquisitions, collection management, and reconsideration of library collections.
Patron Behavior
This policy covers patron behavior within the library, including food, personal devices, substance use, and appropriate use of library space.
For further clarification on what constitutues an unattended child, and how the library is directed to deal with any issues that may arise, please refer to our Unattended Child Policy.
Meeting Rooms
Our meeting room policy is designed to allow equal access to all qualifying groups into the library’s available meeting spaces. Our program policy discusses how library programs are planned and presented.

*NOTE: Basement meeting rooms will be unavailable until late 2025/early 2026 due to renovation*
If you would like for a meeting space reservation of library program to be reconsidered, please submit one of the forms below to the Library Director.
Technology and Internet
Our internet usage policy is designed to provide a safe and private browsing experience for all patrons.
In addition, the library provides the use of free WiFi hotspots to valid MLNV cardholders. To view our policy and obtain information on checking out a hot spot, please email [email protected]
