“I have utilized the Memorial Library of Nazareth and Vicinity for most of my life. As a small child I attended Story Hour and Mrs. Bryfogle read books from a beautiful chair. As I got older, I continued to utilize the library for research purposes. This was before computers were so widely used. The basement had LOTS of resources for students and it could become quite full as research papers were due. Now, there are computers for patrons to use, with assistance available if it should be needed. As a parent, I took my son to activities at the library, such as their Summer Reading Project. As an adult I continue to borrow books for pleasure reading. The library has a vast collection of fiction and non-fiction books. The staff continues to acquire new books at they are released (thank you, Mrs. Hartman!). I am particularly grateful for the stickers that tell me the genre of the book, since I am partial to Historical Fiction. There are also plenty of nonfiction books for self-help or other information. The staff are always willing to help in any way possible, whether it be to locate a book in the library, secure a book on interlibrary loan, or make suggestions. The Memorial Library of Nazareth and Vicinity is a treasure and it is located in the beautiful former home of the Trumbower family. Check it out!”

“The Nazareth Memorial Library is an amazing hub of the Nazareth community. The staff is always welcoming, friendly, and helpful. From the times they’ve recommended a book based on another I’d enjoyed to random book talks about our new and recently read I love to see all of the staff! This library is an incredible resource that I doubt few people take full advantage of. I feel like we make a trip there every day and have only scratched the surface of what it offers.”

Children’s Programs

“Miss Catherine does a fantastic job with the Children’s Programs. Story time and Shake ‘n Boogie are our two favorites. My son loved it so much that awe started to bring my nephew as well! And, let’s not fail to mention “Touch a Truck” – one of our favorite annual traditions.”

Interlibrary Loan (ILL)
