Remembering Alice Yeakel

Alice Yeakel, 1934-2025

Alice’s memorial service will be held Saturday, November 1, 2025 at 2pm at the Nazareth Moravian Church. A fellowship will be held after the service. 

Alice was always taking photographs of the library; thanks to her, we have hundreds of photos of library events from the 1980s to the present! But Alice rarely posed for a photograph of herself. “Alice has always been the face of the Nazareth Memorial Library for my 50+ years of life. I used to go to story hour when I was around 4 years old in the 70’s and she was either reading to us or working in the library. She should be the picture of ‘librarian’ in the dictionary!
